The battery for hp pavilion dv6 was a perfect fit. It has good capacity and seems to be better than the original that came with the laptop. This battery fits and looks like the OEM battery. Holds a charge like it should depending on your power management settings. Lenght of battery for hp pavilion dv6 time may vary.Only had it a month so time will tell how long it lasts. Definitely, they made the laptop portable again. Overall for the price, it is a good buy.    

I was an exact battery for hp pavilion dv6 replacement. Sold the computer so I don't know how long the battery lasts but I didn't get a callback on it. I would buy it again. What can I say? Perfect fit, and works as it should. Great shipping. After reading the various battery for hp pavilion dv6 reviews, I was skeptical whether I would have success with these replacement batteries. To my delight, the batteries are, in fact, performing as brand new. I purchased two batteries as I have identical notebooks (actually my children's notebooks). I did allow them to charge to 100% and then fully discharge before charging again to 100% in order to condition the battery for hp pavilion dv6. Both notebooks are getting 2.5+ hours of charge which is one full hour more than they got when the notebooks were new. I will be purchasing two more so they each have a spare.
